About Temporal
Temporal is a durable execution and orchestration platform designed to let you write long-running, stateful workflows in code (in languages like Go, Java, TypeScript, Python, .NET, etc.) while the platform ensures resilience, state persistence, automatic retries, and failure recovery. Workflows persist their state and can be resumed or replayed transparently, which frees developers from boilerplate around state management, timeouts, timers, and retries. The Temporal Service can be self-hosted or consumed via Temporal Cloud, providing observability, scalability, and a robust foundation for orchestrating distributed systems.
