About Windmill
Windmill combines a script runner, a workflow engine and a low-code app builder in one self-hostable platform. Each script automatically gets an auto-generated UI, an API endpoint and scheduling; scripts can be composed into flows with branches, loops, approval steps, retries and error handlers. The engine is written in Rust on top of PostgreSQL and is designed for low overhead per job, making it suitable for both internal tooling and data pipelines. Windmill can be self-hosted with Docker or Kubernetes, or used as a managed cloud service.
